Nestled on the picturesque Monzoccolo plateau above Merano, the Waldbichl inn in Verano was started in 1981 by Rosmarie and Toni Laner and is now run by their daughters, Claudia and Irene. The restaurant cuisine is based on ingredients sourced from their own farm, such as beef, potatoes, buckwheat and barley.
