With a history stretching back to 1184, when it served as a hospitium for a monastery, the hotel is now a gathering place for those who appreciate great food in a stylish atmosphere. Whether seated at the historic regulars’ table, in the vaulted cellar, at the bar or in the CERVO Restaurant, everyone is welcome here. The menu focuses on hearty, healthy and seasonal dishes, incorporating the teachings of Hildegard von Bingen and the herbalist Weidinger. Grounded on a Slow Food philosophy, each dish impresses with its variety and exceptional quality.
The host family
Now in its third generation of family ownership, the Kofler Mocatti family runs the hotel and restaurant with passion. Senior Manager Edith is the face of hospitality, overseeing all service matters, while her daughter Ingrid, chef at CERVO, creates the culinary magic. Her brother Mirko manages the hotel, ensuring every guest’s comfort, alongside their father, Giorgio.
