The Vögele restaurant in the heart of Bolzano’s old town has been owned by the Kamaun family since 1871 and has been run by the Alber family since 1993. People still meet in the wood-panelled Goethe lounge for a daily chat at the oldest regulars' table of South Tyrol. Seasonal products from the farmer’s market and from local producers are prepared according to old family recipes and served in historic rooms.
