The Saalerwirt has been a family business since 1882 and is currently run by the fourth generation of the Tauber family. Hans Tauber, himself a former chef, now looks after the hotel’s own farm. His wife, Berta, is without doubt the life and soul of the place and is at the helm of the kitchen. Three of their five children are also involved… Magdalena with her massages and infusions, Katherina as a passionate sommelier and Gabriel as an enthusiastic member of the restaurant team.
