A select drop of wine or a cool beer always makes a good accompaniment to a good, local meal. Therefore we recommend the Südtiroler Gasthaus insriGer wine or our insriGs beer. Your health!

The inn wine is currently bottled exclusively for our group by the "Griesbauerhof" vineyard in Bolzano/Rencio. The Santa Maddalena is the ideal accompaniment for the typical dishes prepared by the inns and restaurants in the Alto Adige/Südtirol area. It has an extremely pleasing flavour, and its freshness and colour, together with a light tannin content, give it perfect balance. It goes extremely well with the dishes offered on the menus of associated inns.
The inn wine was selected through a competition open to all Alto Adige wine producers. An expert panel of judges made up of representatives from the Alto Adige Sommelier Association, the Alto Adige Wine Consortium and a number of restaurateurs in the “Südtiroler Gasthaus” group blind tasted the wines entered and selected the winner. The competition to identify the inn wine will be repeated every two years.

“insriGs” beer is on offer during the summer months in conjunction with the start of the “Frescaestate” gastronomic initiative. It is a local Märzen medium to full-bodied lager, produced by the “Batzen Bräu” brewery in Bolzano exclusively for members of the “Südtiroler Gasthaus” group using a proportion of cereals from Alto Adige.
This dark amber tinted beer presents a highly distinctive body and slightly sweet malt notes. The flavour is of lightly roasted but not caramelised malt while a delicate hint of bread and sponge cake comes through on the nose and palate. The aroma of hops is minimal, though it can be detected and is pure. The beer, called “insriGs”, pairs perfectly with typical Alto Adige dishes.
