The Durnwald restaurant is a family-run business offering traditional, seasonal dishes prepared personally by owner Sylvia Mayr, who is constantly trying to breathe new life into older recipes. Her mother, Barbara, provides support, looking after service and the wines. They and a few of their staff members are continuing the life’s work of their beloved father and husband, Erich Puis Mayr.
